"undergrOund idOl" refers to a series of six albums released by each of the respective members of OnlyOneOf. Starting with the release of YooJung's begin on June 27, 2022 until Nine's beyOnd on January 4, 2023, each member released a solo song accompanied by an "art pop" remix of a previously released song. The project aimed to explore the inner world of idols who shine on stage for their fans.
Extending on the themes of queer representation seen in their previous releases, the undergrOund idOl project portrayed three continuing storylines of same-sex relationships.
